Out of a north side basement comes the warm sound of BILLHOUSE, a new
rock'n'roll family, homespun to be sure.
Comprised of former members of everyone from Boom Hank to The Drovers, the
swaying ebb & flow of BILLHOUSE's mid-western songs are reminiscent of The
Replacements and Uncle Tupelo, with whom they are most often compared.
Featuring three singer songwriters on guitar and vocals, BILLHOUSE goes
comfortably from country influenced laments to rave-up rockers with a charm
that reflects their musical sincerity.
Live performances in Chicago thus far have included The Elbo Room with
members of The BoDeans, Fuel for Chicago's Finest Hour with members of
Wilco, The Abbey Pub opening for Larry Kirwan of Black 47, and at Gunther
Murphy's.
Their music has been featured on shows such as Party of 5, Dawson's Creek,
Beverly Hills 90210 and Millennium.
